Collins Boateng
ENT Practitioner

Collins Boateng is a physician assistant, certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. Originally from Ghana, West Africa, Mr. Boateng received a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from Virginia Commonwealth University, and Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science in Physician Assistants Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

As a healthcare provider, Mr. Boateng is an advocate for patient education. During each interaction, Mr. Boateng arms every patient with information about their particular medical condition, disease, diagnosis, and why a particular treatment is being administered. His goal is to keep them actively and cooperatively involved in the decision making process, thereby, enhancing patient satisfaction.

When he is not proudly serving his country (as a member of the Virginia Army National Guard since 2008) or at a conference expanding his knowledge base, Mr. Boateng spends his spare time cooking and participating in various outdoor activities: running, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, and paddle boarding.
